It's me again. I believe this is a fair warning for those who would rather just read my beautiful wife's posts, due to the lack of art that I posses. But for those who continue to read though, let it be known again that I claim nothing remarkable to be said. I simply embark upon the blog to post a few updates due to the lack of anything else to do. By this, I do not mean to say that there is not other things to do, I am sure there are a number of things I could do, even might ought to do. I simply am saying that there is nothing else that I would like to do for the time being, other than ramble on to a world that most likely will never read my thoughts. I was going to start a new paragraph right there, but then I would have had an orphan; now I don't.
Now as for the title of this post, for those who have been wondering, that's my week summed up in a few short words. Last week we had a wonderful Thanksgiving with both of our families, and even some time with old friends. Then we came home, that is back here to P.G., with a truck load of things. The contents of the load were vast enough, and the list long enough, that to sum it up would be difficult other than to to say a load of "things" and therefor that is how I choose to say it.
My mind works in tangents and this may be the one place that I can write like I think. So don't mind the side track, but as I typed that last sentence the question of how to spell therefor came up. Is it therefore or therefor? Spell check likes either. And if there is a difference in them, what the heck is it?
Back to the title now, sorry for the sidetrack. Among that load of "things" was a bed, mattress and loft bed frame. This bed, minus the mattress, I acquired in my college living, and it is actually quite nice. So we decided to use some of the money that we had got at a furniture store for our wedding, (that's another complete story that I could ramble about) for a mattress to go on the loft bed. Then we set it up in our spare room with our office to have a location for guests to come and stay with us. I feel like I should maybe type that in bold so it catches the eye, FOR GUESTS TO COME STAY WITH US. Is that enough of a hint? Some think that Utah County is on another continent or something, and that it is way too far to come and visit. Well, now we have even created a place for them to stay, because the journey is SO long. That last stanza following the paragraph is where it would be super helpful to have a sarcastic font. To finish the bed story we put it together Wednesday night.
Monday night, and well as some other days, we put the Christmas tree up that we bought Black Friday shopping, and found some additional decor items for it. I won't lie, Becky did most of it. Not to mention, due to the fact that she did most of it, the tree looks amazing and wonderful. By additional items I mean a few decorations and a tree skirt and star and such, I'll post pictures so that you can see that I am not lying.
"Laundry Machines". This deserves a rant. We own decent set of laundry, and our place has a nice laundry closet with a nice overflow protection system. Now having worked as an install tech for a appliance company, I would claim that I am fairly competent in installing laundry systems. To simplify this, lets just say that in order to access the dryer I had to reverse the washer and dryer and run all of the essentials across each other to make it work.
OK Becky is home and we are going to Brigham for my work party. To close though, "Ice" is from last night at around ten o clock I had to go back to work to drain my truck of the water due to my forgetfulness in doing so earlier. This prevented Ice from causing me a major headache today.
"Lights" refer to the Christmas Lights we put up one night in the cold, I can't remember which night at the moment.
That's all folks!

You make me smile, dear brother. I'm glad you add your thoughts to the blog - its nice to get a glimpse into your world too. We'll hopefully be down for a visit to enjoy your new bed one of these days. Love you both!
