It was nice only being a 4 hour drive from our place. We stayed with Lynn's aunt & uncle who own a home down there. They were so gracious and accommodating to us crazy kids. Saturday we went and hiked around the Dixie Rock. Here are the photos.
Notice there were two "nerdys" as I called them, driving around remote control jeeps exploring the area. Definitely lovers of technology type. Naturally Lynn & Brian thought they were cool.
I am smiling. But barely. It do not enjoy heights. But I was brave and climbed the rocks. And then dangled my feet over the edge. Also. Notice how matching I am to nature. Blue shirt matches the sky. Hair matches the rock. Maybe I could call my hair color RedRock.
Here is Brian being champion of the mountain. These pictures don't really show how high we were.
After that the boys went biking, and I, I went shopping to the outlets. Good therapy. Guess who lasted longer? ME! ha ha. We had dinner then went and saw The Adventures of TinTin at a theater. Not bad. Finally, what I had been waiting for all trip long...
Yep. Satisfied.
