Well Happy New Years! I personally think it is a silly holiday. But oh well. First off. Lynn finally solved his little puzzle toy. Hooray. Although, don't worry, that didn't allow him to take a break. He of course had to mess it up again. Silly boy.

For the New Year we had Blake and Shannon over for a little hoo-rah party.  We hosted. Made some dinner. Went to Thanksgiving Point to see the lights. Came back. Played games. Turned on the TV to watch the ball drop. That is a weird tradition p.s.  Who cares if a sparkly lit ball moves down a few feet at the stroke of midnight. Anyways. After all that excitement, we popped a cork. Well actually Blake did. And it scared all of us. And then we drank some drink. Lynn and I even had fancy pancy glasses that his sister gave us for Christmas. Which are awesome. See my pretty name etched in the glass? Don't worry. Lynn's is there too. Cheers! Also. That sparkling drink stuff is not my favorite thing in the world. BUT. Drinking it out of a fancy glass made it much more bearable!

  

  

Well. After that excitement, we put in a movie. Have I mentioned that was a bad plan, and we are too old to stay up really late these days. And how 9 o'clock church came WAY too early the next morning? That's all.
