Cache Gran Fondo
Lynn biked in the Cache Gran Fondo a few weeks ago. It is a 100-mile ride that starts in Logan, heads north up to Preston, over to Malad, back down to Fielding, then finishes back in Logan. Sounds insane to me.... but Lynn loves it!
As much as I might complain about biking, and how much time it takes my husband away from me, I am so proud of him and think he is quite the rockstar! Congrats on another great race Lynny!
Las Vegas Trip
I got invited to go with my work to Las Vegas for our summer trade show, Create' N Connect. What a crazy experience! It was long, hot (115 degrees!), and tiring but so much fun! 6 days, 24-7 with your co-workers was also an interesting adventure...
Sunday we spent driving down, and Monday was a full day of set up. Tuesday the show began! All day I basically talked to people who came to our booth about our product and did demos for them. Here is a look at the finished product! You can see a lot of what I do for work. I designed our booth displays, giveaway handouts, product packaging and basically everything you can see.
I had a great time, but after 6 full days I was ready to be back home with my hubby and take it easy for awhile!

Checketts Family Reunion
At the end of June we went up to St. Anthony, Idaho for the Checketts Family Reunion. Lynn's mom's siblings and all of their families come together for a few days of fun. I have heard about this Checkett's reunion for quite a few years now... I was a little nervous to see what all the hype was about!
We spent one morning at the sand dunes. Poor Lynn had to work most of the day getting a bid finished for work.
One afternoon the Jorgensen crew took a break from the reunion and went for a drive to check out some of the nearby falls.
We had a great trip and it was fun to meet and get acquainted with so many of Lynn's family. They are all amazing people and I am lucky to now be a part of them!

First Boating Trip
We finally got the boat out for the first time this summer! Yay! We went up to Pineview with Mark's single's ward. Ha ha. It was really pretty up there, I'd never been! Despite not many wanting to actually boat, we still had a good time providing entertainment for their ward.
If anyone wants to go boating, let us know! We are always looking for people to come with us! Hopefully we can get out a lot more times this summer!

Ragnar
The company I work for, Lifestyle Crafts sponsored a team this year for the Ragnar Relay. If you don't know what that is, it is a 198ish mile relay race from Logan to Park City. There are 12 runners who run 3 legs each 24-7 til they finish! Each team also has to have a couple volunteers to help with the race. Well since I said no to running, I had to volunteer :)
I worked over in Logan at the 2nd exchange point. I kept track of the teams that came through, and their times. It wasn't too bad. It was actually quite fun to see all the teams, many of which are in costumes, dress up for the event. And hey, it counted as my work for the day, so I guess I can't complain too bad, except for how I got sunburned. But I did get a free T-shirt. So all-in-all it was a win.

Bee's Game
Working full time in the summer is not my favorite thing. Especially when I just stare out my window all day at the beautiful sunshine I could be out doing something fun in. Oh well. Gotta do what we gotta do. We have found some time to have some fun though.
My mom won tickets to a Salt Lake Bee's game last week. I was pretty excited! I have lived in Utah my whole life and never been to a game. Considering how much I like baseball/softball, that is a pretty big shocker, right? Lynn couldn't go because he was being a good boy and fulfilling his calling by taking his deacons to Youth Conference. So I went down to the game with Jeremy and his family.
We had great seats, and the game was pretty good! Saw a couple home runs, and the highlight of the night was Belle caught a game ball! The players bring in the ball after they get 3 outs and are coming in to hit. They throw the game ball they'd been playing with into the crowd. Well who could resist a cute little girl with a pink hat and pink mitt waving to them? :) They threw the ball her way and she snagged it with her mitt. She was so PROUD! I caught a little foam ball later, and the girls got Bumble the Bee mascot to sign their balls for them.
What a fun night at the Ballpark!

Soccer
I never played soccer as a little girl, but I can remember attending many of my brother's games. I told Belle I would come watch one of her games this year.... What could be more exciting than a bunch of 5/6 year old girls prancing around while chasing a soccer ball?
Good Job Belle!
